Support Network Map

Week 2, Lesson 3: Building Your Support Team

Instructions: For each of the three support circles, write 2–3 names and one specific thing you could ask each person for. You don't need to fill every line. The goal is to see who you already have — and notice any gaps.
💜

Circle 1: Emotional Support

Emotional

People who can hold space for how you feel — without trying to fix it or give unsolicited advice. This includes close friends, family members, a therapist, or a support group.

🔧

Circle 2: Practical Support

Practical

People who help with the doing — childcare, errands, moving, logistics, research. These are the people who show up when you need something handled.

👔

Circle 3: Professional Support

Professional

People with expertise whose guidance protects and guides you: divorce attorney, financial advisor, therapist, life coach, mediator. You may not have all of these yet — that's okay.

Gaps & Next Steps

Your assignment: Reach out to one person in your network this week with a specific ask. Not "I need support" (too vague), but something concrete: "Could you call me Thursday evening?" or "Can you watch the kids Saturday for two hours?" Specific asks are easier to say yes to — and you deserve a yes right now.
